Manchester City and Liverpool racing to get Aubemeyang.

Manchester City are ready to battle it out with Liverpool to sign Borussia Dortmund and Gabon striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, according to Sky Sports.

A day after reports claimed Liverpool were apparently willing to break their transfer record by offering £61m to sign Aubameyang from Jurgen Klopp's former club Borussia Dortmund, it is claimed City manager Pep Guardiola is weighing up a move for the player.

Aubameyang is apparently in limbo after a £60m plus switch to PSG fell through last week, and former Bayern Munich manager Guardiola could be ready to make his move.
